>> Breaking up in public tough says Mollie-Mae >> Tommy: Split was down to my booze habit

-  MARK JEFFERIES

We're trying to figure things out, it's new

MOLLY-MAE Hague says her relationship with ex-fiance Tommy Fury is complicated, as he admits their split was caused by his drinking.

The couple met on Love Island in 2019 and their romance has become the most celebrated from the ITV series.

But after they got engaged and had daughter Bambi together, they split last August amid rumours Tommy had cheated something he denies.

The story so far will be played out from tomorrow in a new Prime documentary series, released just two weeks after the pair reconciled and enjoyed a kiss at a New Year's Eve party, in a sign they could be getting back together.

Asked about the state of their relationship, Molly-Mae, 25, said: "We are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives, in the public eye, and this is a whole new territory for me.

"To deal with this break-up with millions of eyes watching it is hard and it is complicated.

"The reason why I don't comment on it publicly is because we both are navigating it ourselves. We are figuring it out as adults and as parents and doing the best we can.
