We need Angela back

WES Streeting was given a standing ovation after calling for former Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner’s return to government.

In an emotional moment yesterday, the Health Secretary credited Ms Rayner for her work on a fair pay agreement for social care workers.

Speaking of the £500million investment, he also hailed Ms Rayner as someone who “understands the struggle care workers face, because she was one”. He went on: “She brought that experience to the Cabinet table as the care worker who became our country’s Deputy Prime Minister.

“Angela Rayner, this achievement is yours. Thank you. We need her back.”
