Pregnant woman died after flat plunge as 'miracle' baby survives

A HEAVILY pregnant woman died after falling 90ft from her father's flat, an inquest heard.

Emma Atkinson, 38, died last Tuesday morning. Her baby girl, named Posie, incredibly survived the nine-storey fall and was delivered at hospital, where she has been receiving critical care.

The tot, who weighed 4lb when she was born, is said to be doing well, feeding and taking milk. The tiny fighter, who relatives describe as their "little miracle baby", suffered an internal bleed, which is said to be clearing, and a fractured leg.
