Couple died in cliff fall after bone cancer diagnosis blow

A DEVOTED couple jumped to their deaths from cliffs near Whitby Abbey as one of them was suffering from cancer, an inquest heard.

David Jeffcock, 80, and wife Susan, 74, wrote to their solicitor confirming they were ending their lives before they were found at the foot of East Cliff in Whitby on July 30.
