Starstruck Queally beats big guns

I'LL SORT THAT repelled the might of Willie Mullins to land the Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle at Naas ~ a first top-level triumph for Declan Queally.

The 5-1 chance, trained and ridden by Queally (left), set out to make the running but faced a challenge from Mullins’ 15-8 favourite Sortudo, partnered by the trainer's son Patrick, at the final flight in a race in which four obstacles were omitted.
