Horizon II victim slams ex-PO boss's apology as 'PR exercise'
A VICTIM of the Horizon IT scandal who was jailed while pregnant has rejected an apology from a former Post Office boss who appeared to celebrate her conviction.
Seema Misra, a former subpostmistress sentenced to 15 months in 2010 due to the faulty Horizon IT system, told the Mirror she still suffers nightmares about her time in prison.
Asked why she thought David Smith had finally said sorry while he gave evidence at the Post Office Inquiry yesterday, she said: "He knows the public is behind the postmasters.
