After extra time THIERRY HENRY suffered Olympic heartbreak last night when his France "crazy gang" lost against Spain in a mad final.

The Arsenal legend's team without superstars fought like men possessed after conceding three first-half goals in a frenzied match.

Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta netted an injury time penalty after a VAR check to force extra-time.

But substitute Sergio Camello then netted twice - the second in the 121st minute - as Spain's glorious summer of football also claimed the Paris gold medal.
