DJ Zoe Ball grieves for Julia after cancer fight

Head of Showbiz DJ Zoe Ball says her family are grief-stricken following the death of her mum, Julia Peckham.

The BBC Radio 2 presenter, 53, who revealed last month her mum, 74, had cancer, said: "Sleep tight, dear Mama.

Zoe shared a photo of a younger Julia and said: "Thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, to always show courage and empathy, and how, even in the darkest of days, laughter is the greatest of gifts.

"We are bereft without you but will hold so tight to each other."
