Single and scared of dating again in my 50s

Dear Coleen I'm 52 and I've been on my own since I divorced my husband three years ago.

I put all my energy into picking up my life after 18 years of marriage and helping our two children, who really struggled with us splitting up.

Things are OK on that front now and the kids are happier and more settled. I guess we're now in a good routine and they know that both me and their dad are still there for them as much as we ever were.

Now the kids are older and need me less, I've found I'm really missing being in a relationship and keep thinking about the possibility of meeting someone. However, I've no clue how to start and my confidence is pretty low.
