Anderson yet another star off Wallsend Boys Club production line... & the U21s Euros winner is now eyeing World Cup glory

ELLIOT ANDERSON is on the cusp of walking in the footsteps of some giants of English football.

But he wants to go one better than Alan Shearer & Co by helping the Three Lions conquer the world.

Anderson is hoping to become the latest product of Newcastle's 'Wallsend Boys Club' to make his England debut when Thomas Tuchel's men take on Andorra tomorrow.

In doing so, he would join a list that includes legends such as Shearer, Peter Beardsley and Michael Carrick, who all came off the Wallsend production line to reach the top of the game.
