Battling Poundland returns to £1 pricing as it closes 68 stores
TROUBLED discount chain Poundland is changing it up, by rolling out simpler pricing.
It will return to £1, £2 and £3 groceries and begin closing 68 of its 800 stores after avoiding administration earlier this week.
The price plans will be phased in nationwide over the next month after being piloted at 17 stores in the West Midlands over the past five months.
