PM ridicules Kemi U-turn over joining Iran conflict

KEIR Starmer yesterday mocked Kemi Badenoch's "mother of all U-turns" on joining the Iran conflict.

At Prime Minister's Questions, he said the Tory leader had relentlessly attacked him for not joining the initial US/ Israeli strikes against Iran.

Mr Starmer told MPs: "Then yesterday in the wake of the economic consequences, the leader of the opposition totally abandoned her position.

"She told the BBC: 'I never said we should join.'"
