Locals reveal their romantic risk-taking in city found to be UK's adultery capital

Famous as the home of Robin Hood, Nottingham has now earned a new crown sure to make the outlaw's beloved Maid Marian blush - as cheating capital of the UK.

Forty one per cent of people in the city admit to doing the dirty on their other half, a survey has found.

Least surprised are adultery experts at Illicit Encounters, the website for extramarital relationships, which reports a 17% rise in CITY Market Square active users in Nottingham this year compared to the same period last year.

"We've seen consistent numbers from Nottingham over the years - they are some of our most active users," reveals spokeswoman Jessica Leoni. I drive down Maid Marian Way and enter the buzzing Old Market Square to find out what locals think.
