Mum's anger as Kennedi's killer pleads down from murder rap

A GRIEVING mum spoke of her agony after her daughter's killer was allowed to plead guilty to manslaughter rather than murder.

Kennedi Westcarr-Sabaroche, 25, was beaten, strangled and attacked with a knife in a car by her boyfriend, Gogoa Tape, 28, a court heard.

After killing her, he moved her to the passenger seat and drove her body around before confessing to his brother more than six hours later.

Gogoa admitted manslaughter by diminished responsibility and the Crown Prosecution Service agreed to drop a murder charge.
