ROB EDWARDS says he did not want to have any future regrets over taking the Wolves job after he swapped a promotion fight with Middlesbrough for a relegation battle.
-
The 42-year-old left Boro second in the Championship table and joined Wolves who are bottom of the Premier League with just two points from 11 matches, already eight points adrift of safety.
He made more than 100 appearances for Wolves between 2004 and 2008 and went on to take coaching roles with the club, even becoming their caretaker manager in 2016.
Edwards (inset meeting staff at the club's training ground) will face Crystal Palace at Molineux today in his first game in charge.
