Let Trump hear our opposition

I THINK that Trump should visit the UK. It will show him how international relations should be carried out and that diplomacy does not consist of name calling and making abusive remarks.

He could learn some valuable lessons from King Charles in how to conduct himself properly.

Trump has made some horrific mistakes since becoming president. We shouldn't condone his behaviour but refusing to let him come to the UK will not show strength. However, I think it should be a no-fuss, low-key state visit.

I also believe that he should see any inevitable protests that might take place while he is here.

The ideal neutral ground for a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia would be the ancestral homeland of Donald Trump.

I am sure King Charles would be happy to offer Balmoral as a venue and, knowing his generous hospitality, he may well break bread with them when they reach a deal.
