Haggas' filly ready to make step up to Group level

ALOBAYYAH is fancied to make light of a 10-month absence to lift the Group 3 BetMGM Atalanta Stakes (2.25) at Sandown today.
It was back in October that the William Haggas-trained daughter of Ghaiyyath made her debut in a novice stakes for fillies on soft ground at Yarmouth, going off at 4-1 in a field of eight.
In rear early on, Alobayyah made effortless ground on the leaders running to the last of the eight furlongs before powering away to beat Regal Agenda by two and a quarter lengths.
