Arena bomb victim accuses MoJ of failures in Abedi's jail attack

A MANCHESTER Arena bomb survivor has accused the Justice Secretary of failing to protect prison officers attacked by Hashem Abedi.

Martin Hibbert, 47, spoke out after the brother of suicide killer Salman Abedi put three guards in hospital by assaulting them with boiling fat and homemade weapons in a kitchen.

In an open letter to Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood and the MoJ, he said he was "absolutely disgusted beyond words" that the terrorist was allowed access to the area.
