Mum's shock at finding her dead son in a baby chair 'watching TV' in grieving funeral boss' living room
A FUNERAL director who has been accused of putting a dead child in a baby chair to “watch cartoons” says she was trying to help grieving parents.
But the boy's mum was deeply distressed when she walked in on the scene at Amie Upton’s home, according to a BBC investigation.
The mother, Zoe Ward, said she was terrified and angered after finding her son Bleus body in a baby chair in the living room.
Zoe, 32, added: “I rang my mum and I'm saying, ‘This isn't right’.
“I was screaming down the phone, ‘He can't stay here’”.
She claimed there was another dead baby nearby on the sofa.
Zoe asked Florrie’s Army - run by Amie, 38 - to arrange Bleu’s funeral, and his body was collected from hospital. But Zoe was shocked when she visited Amie’s home the next day.
Amie, from Leeds, told the Mirror she started doing baby funerals after losing a child herself following a violent attack.

Breaking down in tears, she said: “I just wanted to help them. I've had the police in my home several times and the fraud squad going through bank accounts.
“I've had CID do welfare checks and investigations and have found no wrongdoing”.
