CHRISTIAN HORNER could make a sensational Formula One return with Aston Martin set to axe another team boss.

- FROM DANIEL MOXON in Las Vegas

Former Mercedes engines chief Andy Cowell began work as chief executive last October and replaced Mike Krack as team principal ahead of this season.

But he looks set to be removed from those roles after disagreements with design guru Adrian Newey.

Billionaire owner Lawrence Stroll could turn to Horner (right) as Cowell's replacement and the Brit is keen to make a swift return to F1.
