Homes fit for heroes

FOR too long, the brave men and women who serve overseas in our armed forces have been let down by the dire state of military housing when they get home.

Last year, a review by the Kerslake Commission found military personnel and their loved ones were living in damp, mouldy homes, riddled with pests and plagued by shoddy gas and electrical fittings.
