Family’s relief as ‘sadistic’ fiend who raped and killed stable girl has open prison move blocked

THE sister of a stable girl who was raped and murdered by a “sadistic” Hells Angel has told of her relief that the killer will stay behind bars.

Colin Hill raped Leanne Scott then knifed, strangled and shot her in the face on her 17th birthday in April 1987.

Leanne, who lived for her horse Solo and dog Holly, was found dumped a mile from her Cambridgeshire home.

In July the Parole Board cleared Hill, now 67, for a move to an open prison.

But the recommendation was refused by the then Justice Secretary, Shabana Mahmood.

After hearing the news, Leanne’s sister, Kelly Whitemoore, spent the next day crying tears of relief.
