HAKON VALDIMARSSON paid tribute to the new lease of life he's enjoyed under Keith Andrews after pledging his long-term future to Brentford.

The Iceland international keeper has signed a contract extension until 2030, with the option of a further two years. The 24-year-old has made seven of his 11 starts for the club this season since Andrews (left) took over as head coach last June.
