TOMMY FLEETWOOD will target closing the “clear gap" to Scottie Scheffler and Rory Mcllroy at the top of the world rankings in 2026.

The world No.3 is now the nearest pursuer of the top two after winning his first PGA Tour event at the Tour Championships and claiming his eighth DP World Tour title in India.

The Ryder Cup star will launch his new campaign today by defending his Dubai Invitational title, with Masters champion Mcllroy also in the field.
