Anti-racism campaigner Shaka on Sir Jim rant

THE president of Show Racism the Red Card yesterday hit back at Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe for his comments about immigration as the charity marked its 30th anniversary.

Shaka Hislop, the former Newcastle Utd and West Ham goalkeeper, expressed horror at the billionaire's slurs. Ratcliffe, 73, had said: "You can't have an economy with nine million people on benefits and huge levels of immigrants coming in. The UK has been colonised. It's costing too much money."

He later apologised if he had caused offence.
