Mum disbelief as grand jury says evidence not sufficient for a charge

A BRITISH woman fatally shot by her father at his Texas home had argued with him that day about Donald Trump, an inquest has heard.

Lucy Harrison, 23, was due to go home to Warrington, Cheshire, with boyfriend Sam Littler on January 10 last year when dad Kris Harrison shot her in the chest.

A US grand jury ruled there was insufficient evidence to charge anyone over the death, which Lucy's mum Jane Coates described as “beyond comprehension”.

Trump was to be inaugurated as US President days later. Sam said: “Kris and Lucy ended up having quite a big argument, which led to Lucy running upstairs and being upset.”
