Beachgoers warned over invasion of toxic SÉA SLUGS on Spanish shoreline

TOURISTS have been banned from the sea on a stretch of Spain's Costa Blanca due to an invasion of venomous sea slugs.

The blue dragon is just over an inch long and is dubbed "the most beautiful killer in the ocean".

It preys on much larger creatures such as the Portuguese man o' war and absorbs its venom, using it against anything that gets too close.

Symptoms of the blue dragon's sting include nausea, pain, vomiting and a severe rash.
