Obsessive 'wanted to torch house & hear him scream'

AN obsessed constituent who made repeated threats to kill his MP has been jailed for 18 months.

Benjamin Clarke was branded dangerous by a judge after he said he wanted to firebomb the home or office of Labour's Sam Rushworth.

He added he would "lock the doors so I could hear him screaming".

Clarke, 32 also threatened to harm the MP's wife. He will serve an extra 18 months of supervision once released after the judge heard he still has violent thoughts about the MP.
