Winter has finally gone, and if you are thinking about giving everything a good spring clean, then here are some gadgets and gizmos to help make the chores a little less daunting

TO THE POINT

DYSON PENCILWASH

Dyson's latest gadget is like a futuristic mop. It's called the PencilWash and offers an ultralight and slimline way to scrub those floors.

It weighs just 2.2kg and can lie flat to 170 degrees to reach under furniture like cabinets and sofas.

Dyson says the 300ml water tank can clean up to 100 square metres of flooring, and the rechargeable battery lasts for 30 minutes. That means you should be able to mop up accidental spills with ease, or blitz the weekly clean without having to empty or recharge halfway through.

It will be priced at £299.99 when it goes on sale next month.

HOUSE PET

ROBOROCK

Robot vacuum cleaners are finally getting a whole lot smarter. The latest Saros 20 from Roborock can now climb over small steps and obstacles using AdaptiLift technology.

An intelligent StarSight System smartly navigates the vacuum around the home and stops it from crashing into things.
