A CAT born with a one-in-a-million heart defect has been saved by a pioneering operation.

Owners Marie Ruffell and Paul Lovatt first noticed something wrong with Kobi shortly after getting him as a kitten in December 2024.

Bathroom fitter Paul, 47, explained: “He had a really strong pulse on his neck and whenever he played with his cat toys he got out of breath.”
