5.3m tune in for Ant & Dec's star-studded farewell show

AN audience of millions tuned in to watch Ant and Dec serve up their last ever Saturday Night Takeaway.

The pair bowed out from the hit ITV series with a two-hour special featuring a host of celebrity guests.

After the live show, watched by 5.3 million viewers, the duo shared an emotional backstage hug, saying: "Thank you, thank you, thank you. To all the guests, crew, and most importantly you at home who have made the last 20 series so incredible to be part of."
