CAM NORRIE has hailed fellow 'Horn Frog' Jacob Fearnley's big jump into the world's top 50 as an "amazing story."

The pair meet today at the French Open, meaning British tennis is guaranteed to have a man into the second week in Paris for the first time since Andy Murray in 2017.

Norrie, a 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist, has become a role model for young British stars by playing for the Texas Christian University before breaking into the world's 10.

Fearnley, 23, followed in his footsteps by also going to the Fort Worth college, where the sports teams are nicknamed the Horn Frogs. They even shared the same coach, Devin Bowen.

But whereas Norrie, now 29, made slow and steady progress after turning professional in 2017, his fellow Scot Fearnley has exploded onto the scene since leaving TCU last summer.
