BRIAN BARRY-MURPHY was grateful for Yousef Salech’s composure in front of goal as League One leaders CARDIFF drew 1-1 at LEYTON ORIENT.

Dom Ballard put Orient ahead following a howler from Bluebirds’ goalkeeper Nathan Trott, but Salech struck as Cardiff increased their lead to four points over second-placed Lincoln.

“Some of our shots were a bit wild and reckless,” said Cardiff boss Barry-Murphy (above).

“Yousef played a really good game, he was really brave and led the line well. He led well from the front.”
