Footballer's family photo post hints at hope eldest will end feud

- BY TOM BRYANT

POSTED just before midnight, the black-and-white photo was simply captioned: “You are my life.”

In it, Victoria Beckham is cuddled up on a bed with her and David's four kids. Another shows David and now-estranged son Brooklyn as a lad, captioned: “I love you all so much.”

It is the kind of post many make as the clock ticks towards a new year. But Sir David's choice of photos harks back to a relationship now lost.

Those close to the family say relations between Brooklyn, 26, and his parents are now “nonexistent” following a family feud involving his wife Nicola Peltz, 30.

Becks, 50, shared a series of family photos in an apparent attempt to build a bridge over troubled waters.

Victoria reposted in a bid to help but it looks as though their olive branch may have been a futile offering.

FEELINGS

It is unclear whether his eldest son will even see the snap, given he has blocked his dad, mum Victoria, 51, and brothers Cruz, 20, and 23-year-old Romeo from his social media accounts.

But a pal of the Beckhams insisted: “David and Victoria will never give up trying to secure a reconciliation between them and their son.

“Nothing will change that, and they live in hope.

“He will always be their son, and they are not going to stop putting on record their feelings.”
