Golden boost for Lankan referees

A&E Lanka join hands with Rugby Referees' Society

In a major boost to Sri Lanka’s rugby officiating framework, American & Efird Lanka (Pvt) Ltd (A&E) has come on board as a Gold Sponsor of the Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Referees (SLSRFR).

The partnership marks A&E’s first official entry into rugby sponsorship, signalling its intent to engage more deeply with domestic sports.

Speaking at the official announcement, A&E Managing Director Harin Gabriel shared his enthusiasm about the partnership. “While I’ve been involved in rugby personally, this is the first time A&E is supporting the sport. It’s an exciting opportunity for us to engage with a community that draws some of the largest audiences in Sri Lanka after cricket,” noted Gabriel, a former Thomian and Havelocks player.
