In a move set to galvanize Sri Lanka's national rugby ambitions, Sri Lanka Rugby Director Inthi Marikar has secured one of the most respected coaches to lead the national side into Asia Rugby's Top 4 competition.
Rodney Gibbs, a former All Blacks assistant coach renowned for his tactical acumen and player development skills, will assume the role of Head Coach of the Sri Lankan outfit from 26 May onwards. This appointment marks a turning point in Sri Lanka's high-performance pathway and is a testament to Marikar's vision and tenacity in elevating the sport at home.
