MINAZA Hassan, the winner of the Lakshman Kadirgamar Scholarship for a young journalist to undergo a course of study and advanced training at the prestigious Malayala Manorama Group of Newspapers, left for India this week.

Hassan is the 10th recipient of the scholarship that is awarded by the Lakshman Kadirgamar Foundation in partnership with the Sri Lanka Press Institute and The Editors» Guild of Sri Lanka. She will be attached to the Newspaper
