WINDFORCE PLC has secured its 13th grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, with the award of a 10 MW/40 MWh facility in Panadura under Sri Lanka's inaugural national BESS procurement program.

The company said it received the Letter of Award on 20 March 2026, marking the latest addition to its expanding energy storage portfolio. The Panadura project will be developed as a standalone BESS facility under a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, consistent with the structure adopted for its previously secured projects.
