PRIME Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, who also serves as the Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Minister, said that the Government will not obstruct student protests, struggles, or political activity within universities.
However, she made it clear where the line would be drawn. “There will be no tolerance for violence, ragging, or any act that harms the peaceful student community within universities. We are not prepared to offer forgiveness for such acts,” she said.
