ITAK writes to AKD seeking justice and global collaboration over Chemmani mass grave probe

THE Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) has written to President Anura Kumara Disanayake seeking justice and international collaboration over the Chemmani mass grave investigation.

ITAK said it was expressing profound concern regarding the ongoing exhumation at Chemmani.
"We urge urgent and decisive action to uncover the truth, ensure forensic protocols meet internationally recognised standards, and bring perpetrators to justice," the ITAK letter said.
The letter signed ITAK’s C.V.K. Sivagnanam and M. A. Sumanthiran, also stated the following:
