Indunil accounts for Overall Nett title at WASPS Group Monthly Medal at RCGC

THE December Monthly Medal 2025 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGQ), sponsored by the WASPS Golf Group, brought the curtain down on the golfing year in fitting style, showing depth, diversity and competitive excellence across all divisions.

Played over two days and attracting more than 280 golfers, the event once again reaffirmed RCGC's stature as the heartbeat of Sri Lankan golf and highlighted the vital role played by WASPS Group in sustaining competitive club golf.The spotlight firmly belonged to Indunil Wijekoon, who produced a masterclass in consistency and control to claim the Overall Nett title with an impressive 63. His composed performance across the course reflected both experience and finesse, setting the benchmark for the field. Equally outstanding was Kumar Danushan, who captured the Overall Gross title with a superb 69, underlining his growing reputation as one of the clubs most reliable performers.
