Concessionary loan scheme to woo young entrepreneurs for agriculture and industry

THE Cabinet of Ministers on Monday approved implementing a concessional loan scheme at 4% interest to build 50,000 young entrepreneurs in the agriculture and industry sector within the next five years.

Announcing the decision at the weekly post-Cabinet meeting media briefing yesterday, Cabinet Spokesman and Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said the loan scheme will be rolled out with the Bank of Ceylon, People's Bank, and Regional Development Bank.
