BYD Sealion06 clinches top spot in German plug-in hybrid sales for November

RECENTLY, the BYD SEAL U (Sealion06) emerged as the bestselling plugin hybrid model in Germany’s automotive market for November, drawing widespread industry attention.

This milestone marks not only the first time a Chinese auto brand has topped the sales chart ina mainstream German vehicle segment but also signifies that BYD’s large-scale breakthrough in Europe has entered a new phase.

In the German market specifically, BYD’s cumulative sales from January to November reached 19,197 units, a year-on-year increase of over 647.5%. Sales in November alone hit 4,026 units, surging more than 834.1% year-on-year, raising its market share to 1.6%.
