Workers' rights law could leave some zero-hour staff worse off

ANGELA Rayner's workers rights legislation risks making conditions worse for casual staff, a scathing report warns.

A committee of MPs has demanded changes to the flagship laws champi-oned by the Deputy Prime Minister.

Ex-Labour minister Liam Byrne said they are "strategic'. He added: "We want to make sure Britain's best firms can no longer be undercut by rogue companies cutting corners and exploiting their workers."
