PEP GUARDIOLA has told Ederson he is Manchester City’s No.1 — for now at least.

The Brazilian will start in goal in the curtain-raiser at Wolves as his side look to bury the memory of last season’s poor campaign.

Ederson has been linked with a move this summer and Turkish giants Galatasaray look interested. Guardiola is also said to be tracking the mighty Gianluigi Donnarumma - who is set to quit Paris Saint-Germain — despite City spending £27million to sign England Under-21s keeper James Trafford.
