Chelsea manager in talks with Gallagher before move decision

MAURICIO POCHETTINO talks with Conor Gallagher over the Chelsea midfielder's future.

Gallagher, 23, has 18 months left on his current deal and wants to stay at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea could yet cash in on the player as they look to strengthen their squad in January.

Manager Pochettino has made Gallagher a big part of his plans and clearly rates the England star.

Tottenham are also a long-term admirers, and the Blues must decide whether hierarchy give to themselves more spending power or hand Gallagher a new contract.

Pochettino said no decision had been made, adding: "We talked about many subjects. It's a natural situation.
