OASIS LOVER GEORGE IS RIGHT FOR MASTERPLAN
ELLIOT DALY got a glimpse into Jamie George's leadership skills on a lads' golf trip to Ireland when the new England captain accepted a challenge from the locals.
The pair were in Limerick and headed to a pub that would act as their 19th hole when George took up the gauntlet thrown down by the regulars.
Wing Daly said the skipper was the only one to rise to it, and it showed the qualities that led to head coach Steve Borthwick handing the Saracens hooker leadership of the team a fortnight ago.
George will lead Borthwick's side out against Italy in Rome on Saturday and will have an unfamiliar line-up behind him in the tunnel.
