Leeds boss makes points clear

- BY ISAAC JOHNSON

DANIEL FARKE says he will not allow his players to get carried away after Leeds climbed six points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.

Leeds’ 4-1 home win against Crystal Palace on Saturday followed draws against Liverpool and Brentford, plus victory over Chelsea.

But Farke insisted complacency will not be allowed to creep in despite the growing sense of optimism at Elland Road that they can beat the drop.

He said: “There is no replacement for this winning feeling after a game and for a good run of form and results, not just within the group of players, but the group of staff and the whole club.

“Of course, they are good times for everyone who is involved here at Leeds United. We know we are in good shape and have delivered some impressive performances.

“Eight points out of the last four difficult games is a really good outcome, but we are also far away from losing the ground under our feet.
