VIRGIL VAN DIJK says Liverpool's players must trust the club as they face up to life after Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp said an emotional goodbye to Anfield on Sunday after seven major trophies in his nine-year reign. All his backroom staff are leaving too.
Van Dijk knows such major change can be "scary" but says the players must have faith in the owners' plan.
They are overhauling the club's structure, bringing back Michael Edwards as football CEO, with Arne Slot replacing Klopp as head coach.
Edwards is appointing Richard Hughes as director of football while Slot will bring his staff from Feyenoord.
The Reds last night announced the 45-year-old will take over on June 1. He has signed a three-year deal after they agreed a £9.4million compensation package with the Rotterdam club.
