UK cell-ing our prison staff short

Daily Express

YOU REALLY, really have to wonder what is going on in Britain's jails.

Why are prisoners who most of us would regard as psychotic or psychopathic allowed access to deadly materials - materials which they then use against prison officers?

Apparently it's happened again. The so-called "Southport killer", Axel Rudakubana, below, is alleged to have hurled boiling water over an officer at HMP Belmarsh last Thursday. The officer had opened the spy-hole in the door of Rudakubana's cell to check on him, and reportedly had a kettleful of boiling water thrown directly in the face.
